The NHS is offering COVID-19 vaccines this spring to people who are at increased risk from the virus, including those aged 75 and over by June 30, residents of care homes and those with a weakened immune system aged 6 months or above.

Vaccinations commenced on Monday April 15 for residents in care homes for older adults and eligible housebound people.

Other eligible people will be able to book an appointment from Monday April 22 onwards at a participating community pharmacy or GP practice via the National Booking System.

Spring vaccinations will be available until Sunday June 30.

The NHS will be inviting those who are at highest risk first, but everyone can book a vaccine through the NHS app, online or by calling 119.

Some areas offer convenient walk-in options, find out at www.nhs.uk/covid-walk-in.
